Our members come from a diversity of backgrounds, united in our belief that Australia’s success is best guaranteed by free individuals and communities having a go and making a contribution. We reject our opponents’ belief that our prosperity can ever be guaranteed by big government, more spending and higher taxes.
As a member you can help shape Young LNP policy, have your say on the issues of the day and aspire to a leadership role in the LNP’s organisation or as a Parliamentary representative.
The Young LNP play an integral role in supporting the election of Liberal National Governments in Queensland both in terms of running campaigns and providing important on the ground grassroots support.

Meet the YLNP President
Having grown up on a wheat farm, Josie has developed a passion for ensuring regional Queenslanders are seen and heard by those who make the decisions that matter to them. And she has taken this same passion to another group who is so often unheard, young Queenslanders.
The Young LNP provides an avenue for ensuring young Queenslanders voices are heard by those who can genuinely influence the decisions which matter the most - the members of the Queensland and Australian Parliaments.
But it’s not just a place for young Queenslanders to be heard. It’s also a place for the next generation to learn to grow their skills, develop their values, and make lifelong friends in the process, with people who share their passion for Queenslanders.
